News:
The Stage is set for the Avon Regional:
First game pits #12 Westfield against #15 Decatur Central at 10:00am and the Second game, CG vs. #2 and undefeated Cathedral at NOON.
DC held on for a 2-1 victory against a tough #8 Brownsburg team and Cathedral took care of Warren Central 11-8 in their Sectional Championship games.

Cathedral takes down Lawrence Central 9-5
Lightning stopped the game Monday in the 5th inning and they resumed Tuesday at 2pm with Cathedral emerging victorious.  Cathedral faces Warren Central  THURSDAY for the sectional championship at 3pm at North Central, in a change of venue and time/date due to tues. & wed. weather.

Timely RBI's from Jonathan Martin and Luke Bruggeman proved the difference on offense. 
Nolan Clayton was solid again on defense:
11 Strike-Outs, 7 hits, 3 walks (complete game!)
TROJANS ADVANCE TO "SWEET 16" !

Semi-Final CG 11 Franklin 4
The Trojans jumped out to a 2-0 advantage in the second inning after RBI singles by Tyler Allen and Brady Clark. Center Grove added four runs in the third on an RBI single by Logan Westerfield and a three-run double from Allen, extending the lead to 6-0. Center Grove punched its ticket to the final with balanced hitting and a solid performance from pitcher Jonathan Martin, who allowed three earned runs and six hits in five innings.

Varsity: 19-8  (share of MIC w/Lawrence North!!!)  
Reserve: 20-0  (rare undefeated season!!!)

JV TEAM WINS 20 STRAIGHT TO CLOSE OUT UNDEFEATED!
The Trojans took down Zionsville today by a score of 13-3. Congrats to the players and to coaches Higginson & Mike Turner (PaPa-T).

CONGRATS TO FRESHMAN players and COACHES TURNER & LAIGLE on a banner year going 19-1 with 17 in a row to end the season.
